Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions for Children Classes at Survival Fitness, that absolves the company Survival Fitness and Survival Fitness Coaches.
Liability
- Parent or legal guardian of the child acknowledges the inherent risks of physical activity and agrees not to hold Survival Fitness or Survival Fitness Coaches responsible for any injuries to the child that may occur during the class.
- A requirement that the child is physically fit and able to participate in the class.
- A provision that the child will follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by Survival Fitness Coaches.
- A statement that Survival Fitness and Survival Fitness Coaches reserve the right to dismiss any child from the class if they are not following the rules or if they appear to be at risk of injury.
- A provision that the child's parent or legal guardian will provide Survival Fitness and Survival Fitness Coaches with emergency contact information and agree to be reached in the event of an emergency.
- A provision that the child's parent or legal guardian will provide Survival Fitness and Survival Fitness Coaches with any relevant medical information that may affect their child's ability to participate in the class or any changes that may occur.
- Survival Fitness and Survival Fitness Coaches are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur outside of class time or on the way to class.
- For the safeguarding of all children attending Survival Fitness, no parent or guardian will be allowed to stay during classes.
- Cameras with audio are operational during all classes at Survival Fitness for the safety of all staff and children.
Fees and Payments
- All children who participate in Survival Fitness classes must sign up for a 12-week block.
- All invoices must be paid on time.
- Payment for the 12-week block must be made in advance according to the invoice due date. Failure to do so may result in your child’s space being withdrawn.
- If a parent or legal guardian withdraws their child from Survival Fitness before the end of the 12-week block, no refunds will be provided.
- Our class cancellation policy states that there will be no refund or alternative class offered for any cancellations or no-shows throughout the 12-week block for sickness, holiday, or any other reason.
- All payments must be made in British pounds.
- Survival Fitness reserves the right to terminate a child’s enrolment if payments are not made on time.
- A late payment fee of £12.50 will be applied to any invoice not paid on time.
Parent or Legal Guardian Responsibilities
- A requirement that all parents or legal guardians will keep up to date with Survival Fitness emails.
- A requirement that all parents or legal guardians will drop and pick their child off on time.
- A requirement to ensure your child is dressed appropriately for class; if they have Survival Fitness uniform, it must be worn. All long hair must be tied back.
- A requirement that children attend class with all jewellery removed. If your child attends with jewellery on, Survival Fitness accepts to responsibility for injury or damage.
- A requirement to ensure your child is well hydrated and rested before class to prevent injury or disruption.
- A requirement that parents or legal guardians will update Survival Fitness with any medical issues, historic or new.
- A requirement to ensure all invoices are paid on time.
Removal of Child before 12-week block ends or cancellation of a class
- If a parent or guardian decides to remove their child from the 12-week block before the end of the block period, no refund will be issued, and the space reserved for the child for the upcoming block will not be offered.
- Our class cancellation policy states that there will be no refund or alternative class offered for any cancellations or no-shows throughout the 12-week block for sickness, holiday, or any other reason.
- Survival Fitness has the right to refuse a space to any child if necessary.
- Survival Fitness holds the right to dismiss any child during a 12-week block if necessary and no refund will be provided.
Bookings
- If a parent or guardian decides to remove their child from the 12-week block before the end of the block period, no refund will be issued, and the space reserved for the child for the upcoming block will not be offered.
- Our class cancellation policy states that there will be no refund or alternative class offered for any cancellations or no-shows throughout the 12-week block for sickness, holidays, or any other reason.
- Once a parent or guardian has enrolled their child on to Survival Fitness classes, they will have a designated time and day for the whole 12-week block.
- Parents or guardians will have to rebook their child in when the existing 12-week block is coming to an end and the new one is commencing.
- A late payment fee of £12.50 will be applied to any invoice not paid on time.
- You are required to provide 4 weeks’ notice to terminate your child’s space at Survival Fitness. If less than 4 weeks’ notice is provided, you will be charged 10% of the total invoice for the upcoming 12-week block.
Circumstances beyond the control of either party
- These may include natural disasters, severe weather conditions, power outages, and other similar events that may affect the operation of Survival Fitness and the classes inside the Den. If such circumstances occur, both parties will work together to find a mutually acceptable solution, but neither party will be held liable for any failure to perform their obligations due to these circumstances.
- Survival Fitness reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes in the event of such circumstances; any paid sessions will be held, and alternative classes will be offered at the first instance.
Privacy
3. Survival Fitness’ privacy policy states that videos and pictures of the children may be taken for marketing and social media purposes, but only appropriate ones will be taken and used. Any parent or legal guardian who doesn’t want their child being videoed or photographed must put it in writing to Survival Fitness – support@survivalfitness.uk
4. Any private and personal information regarding the child or any information discussed between Survival Fitness Coaches and the parent will always be kept private and confidential.
5. All personal records and files about the children are kept safely and securely inside Survival Fitness or on Survival Fitness’ password-protected Laptop.
As a parent of a child participating in the calisthenics class at Survival Fitness, I have read and understand the full terms and conditions of the class. I understand that my child will be participating in physically demanding activities and that there is a risk of injury. I agree to release Survival Fitness and its instructors from any liability for any injury or harm my child may incur while participating in the class. I also understand that my child's participation in the class is subject to their adherence to the rules and regulations outlined in the terms and conditions.
